Prior to joining Summit Strategies, Ramon was a Program Assistant at the United States Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute. At the State Department, he worked with government officials and private consulting firms to create and implement new standards on a critical learning platform for foreign service officers. Additionally, Ramon worked with the United States Embassy in Lima, Peru, to repatriate thousands of Americans at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Ramirez also has garnered extensive experience through his work with trade associations, presidential and state campaigns, and the government of Puerto Rico.
Ramon graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a BA in Political Science and The George Washington University with a Masters in Legislative Affairs. Ramon is a native of Ponce, Puerto Rico, and he is an avid Tar Heel sports fan.
